Members of Stonehaven Canoe Club are actively involved in river, surf and sea kayaking.

River kayaking usually takes place predominantly on the rivers throughout NE Scotland, and occasionally further afield.

Surf kayakers often take advantage of the sandy beaches and good surf waves at Stonehaven beach and other sandy beaches of NE Scotland. The club has two Mega Surf kayaks for hire.

Sea kayakers often paddle along the NE Scottish coastline, particularly near Stonehaven. There is one double sea kayak and several sea kayaks available for hire.

The club also has two open canoes available for hire.
